This article considers honesty in belief and justice in character as the origins of security, divides security into natural and unnatural (human-made) domains, and maintains that adorning oneself with moral virtues lays the groundwork for the harmony of human society with the world of creation (takwīn) and immunity from nature’s punishment. On the other hand, vices such as worldliness and materialism, arrogance and domination-seeking, lustfulness, and engaging in oppression are seen as undermining security and provoking insecurity in various dimensions. To prove its claim, the study not only cites verses of the Holy Qur’an and authentic narrations from the Infallibles (peace be upon them) but also draws on contemporary concrete and social examples. مسئلة اصلی این پژوهش «بررسی نقش تخلق به فضایل اخلاقی توسط آحاد جامعه بر ابعاد مختلف امنیت از منظر قرآن و روایات» است که به روش کتابخانه‌‍ای، اسنادی و با رویکرد توصیفی، تحلیلی صورت می‌پذیرد. این مقاله صداقت در اعتقاد و عدالت در خلقیات را سرمنشأ امنیت می‌داند و امنیت را به دو حوزۀ طبیعی و غیرطبیعی (انسان ساخت) تقسیم نموده و تحلیه به فضایل اخلاقی را، زمینه‌ساز هماهنگی جامعۀ انسانی با عالم تکوین و مصونیت از قهر طبیعت می‌داند و از سوی دیگر رذایلی همچون دنیا‌طلبی و مال‌پرستی، استکبار و برتری‌طلبی، شهوت‌پرستی و التباس به ظلم را سالب امنیت و داعی ناامنی در ابعاد مختلف می‌داند و در راستای اثبات مدعای خود علاوه بر استناد به آیات قرآن کریم و روایات مأثوره از معصومین(ع)، از بیان مصادیق عینی و اجتماعی حاضر نیز بهره‌مند گردیده است. https://marefateakhlagi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefateakhlagi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5002640-1787133729.pdf
