The present study, using a library and documentary method and with a descriptive and analytical approach, examines the role of the development of moral virtues by members of society on various dimensions of security from the perspective of the Quran and narrations, and in this regard, it has benefited the most from the point of view of Allameh Tabataba'i. This article considers honesty in belief and justice in character as the source of security.
This study has divided security into two areas: natural and unnatural (man-made). By delving into verses and narrations, it considers the development of moral virtues as the basis for the harmony of human society with the world of creation and immunity from the violence of nature. On the other hand, it considers vices such as worldly and materialistic desires, arrogance and superiority, lust and delusion of oppression as negative to security and causes insecurity in various dimensions. In order to prove his claim, in addition to citing verses of the Holy Quran and authentic narrations from the infallibles, peace be upon them, he has also benefited from the presentation of present-day objective and social examples.
