Abstract:
The growth and advancement of a society is closely related to scientific research and investigation in that society, and on the other hand, failure to observe ethics in research can also cause irreparable harm to society. This article aims to address research ethics and attempts to provide an appropriate answer to the main question of the article, which is "What are the ethical principles governing research, what ethical challenges exist in the research process, and what will be the way out of them?" The answer to this question has been achieved by collecting library data and descriptive-analytical methods. The results are as follows: The eight principles of research ethics are: The principle of having divine motivation, the principle of trustworthiness, the principle of paying attention to the background, the principle of duty-orientedness , the principle of courage, the principle of striving, the principle of having a critical spirit, the principle of accepting criticism. Also, appropriate responses were given to two important ethical challenges in the field of research, which are: "1. The challenge of using technology in research and plagiarism 2. The challenge of conducting research for organizational commitment."
