Ma`rifat Akhlaqi

In the last century, Qom seminary of has had brilliant achievements in different dimensions. Moral teachings in the form of moral lessons and written works are among these achievements. Through different approaches in the last century, these moral teachings have covered a wide scope including social and political relations and have transformed many people. The moral lessons in Qom Seminary have not followed the same approach over time. In the last century, one can witness different types of ethical approaches including rational, mystical, narrative and synthetic ethics, or individual and social ethics. But with a close look at the typology of ethics courses, one can see that the dimensions of this classification and typology are numerous and seem to be beyond the common divisions in ethical discussions. Comprehensive versus one-sided, scientific versus practical, Individual versus social; fear-oriented versus hope-oriented; narrative or text-oriented versus rational and introvert versus extrovert are some categories in the typology or the moral current of the Seminary schools in the last century, a report of which is given in this research.
