Ma`rifat Akhlaqi

Among the important foundations in ethics are anthropological foundations. The structure and content of ethical discussions are influenced by these foundations. In fact, the knowledge that a thinker has about human characteristics influences his research theories. One of the thinkers who has presented significant opinions in this field is Allama Misbah. In this research, an attempt is made to explain the anthropological foundations of ethics from the perspective of Allama Misbah. To this end, this goal is attempted to be achieved by referring to his various works and using a descriptive-analytical method. Considering the views of the Allama, several foundations such as human agency, the originality of the soul, and human need can be proposed. Finally, an attempt is made to present a relatively new structure of these foundations. In addition, the relationship of these foundations with ethical discussions such as their effect on discovering virtues and vices and choosing methods for acquiring ethical traits will be mentioned.
